Part-Time Orchard Intern (Graduate)

Description: The Landscape Architecture group, within the Office of the University Architect, supports the University of Pennsylvania's mission by preserving and improving the campus landscape through design, planning, research, outreach and ecological initiatives. Since 2014, Penn has partnered with the Philadelphia Orchard Project to design and implement an educational orchard in Penn Park that has expanded into a layered food forest, including edible and medicinal berries, groundcovers, perennials, shrubs, vines and fruit and nut trees. This year, the orchard should produce an even greater quantity of fruit and medicinal plants. Working directly with the University Landscape Architect and Landscape Planner, this position will expand the educational opportunities of Penn Park Orchard with students and other partner groups.
