Student Participation in Penn Sustainability

Students are encouraged to become involved in campus sustainability efforts from the moment they become part of the Penn community.

Penn’s Student Eco-Reps program is an internship program for undergraduate students interested in learning about environmental issues and working on sustainability projects that advance the University’s Climate Action Plan 2.0.

Move-In Green is Penn’s move-in engagement program dedicated to environmental sustainability. The program gives upperclassmen leaders the opportunity engage new and returning students on environmental initiatives around campus.

ISAC mentors and students

Integrating Sustainability Across the Curriculum (ISAC) Program was established to help Penn faculty introduce environmental sustainability into existing and new courses. Student participants are partnered with faculty members to work over the summer integrating sustainability into the course syllabi, lectures, assignments, reading material, and tests.
